Please read these terms carefully before making a booking with Border Fly Fishing.

All bookings are made by contacting Scott Hamilton directly via the enquiry form, email or telephone. A booking is confirmed only when you have received written confirmation from Border Fly Fishing and, where required, a deposit has been received.
By making a booking you agree to these Terms and Conditions in full.
A deposit may be required to secure a booking, particularly for full-day guided sessions and coaching programmes. Full details will be provided at the time of booking. The balance of payment is due before or on the day of the session unless otherwise agreed.
Accepted payment methods will be confirmed at the time of booking.
In exceptional circumstances — extreme weather, river conditions that make fishing unsafe, or unforeseen personal circumstances — Border Fly Fishing reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a session. In such cases, a full refund will be provided or an alternative date offered. We are not liable for any travel or accommodation costs incurred by the client.
Unless otherwise stated, all guided fishing days include:
Travel to and from the river, food and accommodation are not included unless specifically agreed.
Fly fishing in rivers carries inherent risks including slipping on wet rocks, deep water and unpredictable weather. Scott Hamilton takes every reasonable precaution to ensure client safety, including assessing river conditions before each session.
Clients must:
Border Fly Fishing carries appropriate public liability insurance. Participation in sessions is at the client's own risk.
Clients are expected to behave in a respectful manner towards the guide, other anglers, landowners and the natural environment at all times. Scott Hamilton reserves the right to end a session without refund if a client's behaviour is deemed unacceptable.
Border Fly Fishing may take photographs during sessions for use on the website and social media. Please let us know at the time of booking if you would prefer not to be photographed.
These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
